UPDATE: ASP.NET Security Vulnerability

There’s a critical vulnerability in ASP.NET which allows the attacker to gain access to the machine key and hence all the encrypted data in Together with other exploits available in the target application, it can combine to give the attacker quite a fair bit of access to the target app.

Community Server 2.x – AD Forms Authentication

For those that are looking for the AD Forms Authentication library which i wrote quite a while back, here’s the link

The main purpose of this library is to provide a way to use the normal forms authentication, but instead of querying the backend sql server for the data, it will query the AD instead.

Tested to work with Community server 2.x, there’s a high possibility of it working with the newer versions as well since it is still based on the membership providers
